Χρυσόβουλο ἀνακηρύξεως(1589) τῆς Ἐκκλησίας τῆς Ρωσσίας σέ Πατριαρχεῖο: 

               «Ὁ Πατριάρχης Μόσχας  κεφαλήν καί ἀρχήν ἔχῃ τόν Ἀποστολικόν Θρόνον τῆς τοῦ Κωνσταντίνου πόλεως, ὡς καί οἱ ἄλλοι Πατριάρχαι».

    Δέν εἴμαστε ,λοιπόν, οὔτε ὑπέρ τοῦ Οἰκουμενικοῦ Πατριαρχείου, οὔτε ὑπέρ τοῦ Πατριαρχείου Μόσχας. Εἴμαστε ὑπέρ τῶν δικαιωμάτων τους, πού θεσπίσθησαν ἀπό τίς Οἰκουμενικές καί Τοπικές Συνόδους.

ORTHOD  Chrysobull proclaiming the Church of Russia a Patriarchate (1589): "Let the Patriarch of Moscow haveas his head and authority the Apostolic Throne of the  City of Constantine just as the other Patriarchs do." We are neither in favor of the Ecumenical Patriarchate nor of the Patriarchate of Moscow. We stand for the truth, for legitimacy, and for the rights of Constantinople and of Russia as these were established through Local or Ecumenical Councils.
