Δοξαστικόν τοῦ Ἑσπερινοῦ τῆς Συνάξεως τῶν Κινέζων Μαρτύρων.

Δόξα. Ἦχος πλ. αʹ.

Ὦ θύματα τῆς ἀγάπης τοῦ Χριστοῦ! ὦ θεόφλεκτοι Μάρτυρες τῆς Κίνας! ὦ πληρωταὶ τέλειοι τοῦ Εὐαγγελίου! Ὑμεῖς γὰρ ἔργῳ ἐσφραγίσατε τὴν πίστιν, καὶ τοῖς τιμίοις αἵμασιν ὑμῶν, τὸ νεόφυτον δένδρον τῆς Ὀρθοδοξίας, εἰς αὐξητικὴν στερέωσιν ἐκεῖσε ἐποτίσατε. Πρεσβεύσατε, δεόμεθα, παγγενῶς μακάριοι, ὑπὲρ τῶν πίστει τιμώντων τὸ σεπτὸν ὑμῶν μαρτύριον.

Τὴν σταυροφόρον ὁδὸν τοῦ Εὐαγγελίου ἀκλινῶς βαδίσαντες, τὴν ἄγουσαν εἰς τὴν αἰώνιον ζωήν, διὰ μαρτυρίων τέκνα Θεοῦ πιστά, καὶ κληρονόμοι ἐπάξιοι γεγόνατε, τοῦ ἀρχιμάρτυρος Χριστοῦ, μεθ’ Οὗ νῦν ἀπολαύοντες τοῦ ἀλήκτου γλυκασμοῦ, πρεσβεύσατε φωτισθῆναι καὶ τοὺς συμφυλέτας ὑμῶν, ἀθλοφόροι Κίνας οἱ θεοστεφάνωτοι.

Oh, victims of the love of Christ! Oh, Martyrs of China, on fire for God! You who completely fulfilled the Gospel! With your deeds you sealed your faith, and with your precious blood you watered the newly planted tree of Orthodoxy in your country, so that it might grow and become strong. We pray you to intercede all together, O blessed Saints, for us who faithfully honor your august martyrdom.

You did not deviate from the way of the Gospel, which is to carry one’s cross, and which leads to eternal life, and through martyrdom you became faithful children of God and worthy heirs with Christ the chief Martyr. Now that you are with Him and enjoying unending sweetness, intercede for your fellow countrymen, that they too be illumined, O Martyrs of China, crowned by God.
